Some days are just like that....

Some days are just sad days. Why...I have know idea, but today is one of those days. I am sad that my little girl is growing up way to fast...I am sad that my body is taking FOREVER to change, I am sad that I dont really know what I want to do with my life....It just isnt a good day...Hopefully tomorrow will be brighter and better.

HOLY SMOKES!!! A whole month w/out a post..

Sorry about that! Things have been so very busy in my life. Emma has gone pee on the big potty a few times and today she went into the bathroom and starting pulling at her tights and diaper and I asked her if she had to go potty and she nodded yes, so I stripped her and put her onh the potty and low and behold she POOPED! What a big girl she is!!! 22 months old now. Where has this time gone. We are busy getting excited for our BIG trip this November. Wow, I am getting so excited I can hardly handle it! We are planning on leaving Nov. 20 and coming back Dec 6!!! I will post our itinerary later.

Emma is talking more and more lately. Today she was sitting in the grocery cart and casually picked up the end of the strap (that holds the kiddo's in) and said clearly "buckle" WOW! and then we went on to talk about making cookies she was saying Cookie throughout the store. lol. So cute.

While we were up north two weekends ago Chris (my 9 yr. old Stepson) was out with the neighbor kid playing and he wiped out on the ashphalt road....talk about road rash! He is doing much better. He did knock a tooth loose, but the dentist said it should heal in about a month or so. Poor kid.

Bear is working 4/10's right now and so that gives him a 3 day weekend. Very nice.

I cleaned out my house last week. I gutted it! I went through every rubbermaid tub I own and got rid of 1/2 of my own personal belongings that I no longer use or need. I am going to have a big Garage sale in a week or two. Wish me luck!!!

Big Weekend!

I get a NEW Kitchen.....well new cupboards and counter and sink! That is pretty big if you ask me! I will take pic's when it is all said and done. We live in an old farmhouse and this is a very needed thing. Our sink is falling in, the cupboards are not practical at all! So that is what our plans are! Spring is finally here!!! We are so excited about this. Throw open the windows and let the warm breezes in! Thank God!

IT'S SPRING FINALLY!!!

We finally have spring! We planted our Roses this week (cross your fingers...never done this before) and the grass is getting so green. Emma and I did a little photoshoot yesterday and some of the pic's turned out pretty darn well if I must say so. I have my camera back Finally! I really missed it, now I just need to learn all the stuff on it so I can use it to its fullest potential. Here are some of the pic's from yesterday..keep in mind Naptime was right after this!!!

Welcome Home Mom and Dad!!!

They are back from their long sojourn across the country! It was really nice to go and meet them downstate, even though it was for a funeral of a close family friend. They are home now in the U.P. and are settling in just fine. Emma had a blast keeping up with Grandpa and Grandma between the house and the motorhome. It was a lot of fun to watch her set off up the driveway to "check" on my dad, who was working on the house. She must have made the trip 8 or 9 times. She wore my eyes out watching her LOL! It was a beautiful day Friday in the mid 70's and sunny! Lovely! We went out to Dinner Saturday night for Chris's 9th B-day at La Senorita's and we all enjoyed our meals and the singing that comes with a b-day meal!! Kings and queens and horses too....humming the rest...it was fun!! Thanks for the dinner Mom and Dad! Emma slept in until 10 am this morning! I had to wake her up so we could go to the Y! Goodness!!!!!

Camera is still in the shop!

A month later and my camera is STILL in the darn shop! The LCD screen has been backordered and it will be shipped when the part comes in. UGH! I miss my camera.

Other then that things have been pretty busy around here. We went to a funeral for an old family friend who passed last week. It was a huge turnout and a very nice service for an "outstanding" guy.

Emma is talking a lot now. She says Rory (her buddy) really clear, and lots of other words. She is determined and likes to show it!

Chris is doing well, he had a school music performance and he can dance! It was really cool!

We are booked for Florida! Nov 27 is check in day at the Hilton Grand!!! Two bedroom Condo..I am so excited!!!

We are excited Spring is here, the grass is greening up, snow is melting, it feels great when it warms up!!
