Big Weekend!

I get a NEW Kitchen.....well new cupboards and counter and sink! That is pretty big if you ask me! I will take pic's when it is all said and done. We live in an old farmhouse and this is a very needed thing. Our sink is falling in, the cupboards are not practical at all! So that is what our plans are! Spring is finally here!!! We are so excited about this. Throw open the windows and let the warm breezes in! Thank God!

IT'S SPRING FINALLY!!!

We finally have spring! We planted our Roses this week (cross your fingers...never done this before) and the grass is getting so green. Emma and I did a little photoshoot yesterday and some of the pic's turned out pretty darn well if I must say so. I have my camera back Finally! I really missed it, now I just need to learn all the stuff on it so I can use it to its fullest potential. Here are some of the pic's from yesterday..keep in mind Naptime was right after this!!!

Welcome Home Mom and Dad!!!

They are back from their long sojourn across the country! It was really nice to go and meet them downstate, even though it was for a funeral of a close family friend. They are home now in the U.P. and are settling in just fine. Emma had a blast keeping up with Grandpa and Grandma between the house and the motorhome. It was a lot of fun to watch her set off up the driveway to "check" on my dad, who was working on the house. She must have made the trip 8 or 9 times. She wore my eyes out watching her LOL! It was a beautiful day Friday in the mid 70's and sunny! Lovely! We went out to Dinner Saturday night for Chris's 9th B-day at La Senorita's and we all enjoyed our meals and the singing that comes with a b-day meal!! Kings and queens and horses too....humming the rest...it was fun!! Thanks for the dinner Mom and Dad! Emma slept in until 10 am this morning! I had to wake her up so we could go to the Y! Goodness!!!!!

Camera is still in the shop!

A month later and my camera is STILL in the darn shop! The LCD screen has been backordered and it will be shipped when the part comes in. UGH! I miss my camera.

Other then that things have been pretty busy around here. We went to a funeral for an old family friend who passed last week. It was a huge turnout and a very nice service for an "outstanding" guy.

Emma is talking a lot now. She says Rory (her buddy) really clear, and lots of other words. She is determined and likes to show it!

Chris is doing well, he had a school music performance and he can dance! It was really cool!

We are booked for Florida! Nov 27 is check in day at the Hilton Grand!!! Two bedroom Condo..I am so excited!!!

We are excited Spring is here, the grass is greening up, snow is melting, it feels great when it warms up!!

I'm pretty conservative in my views...okay...very conservative....I took part in today's "Tea Party" and I took some pic's and video if you are interested I will post a link to my amateur movie making...

It does not matter where you stand politically if you are against higher taxes it's time to stand up for what you believe in.

Excellent Weekend!! Emma Survived too!

I went to Grand Rapids this past weekend with another mommy friend and her mom. We had a blast and helped the economy a lot too! We were gone from Friday A.M until Sunday Afternoon. We saw Monsters VS Aliens in 3D at an Imax Theater...SO much fun. It was so nice to be with people who love to shop as much as me!! We met up with another of our Mom friends who moved back to G.R. a few months ago and visited with her and her little girl. (TCmommas-- Sarah Hills says HELLOOOO and she misses you all!!! ) It was great fun and my first time away from Emma bean for an extended amount of time. When I got home she just stared at me like where have you been. I picked her up and she motioned for our chair and patted herself Please..for milk..guess weaning isnt going to happen just yet! All in all it was a FANTASTIC Weekend! I hope we can do it again sometime!!
