Been Busy...what else is new....lol

Howdy all! Well the news around here is that it is Currently 54 degrees at almost 11pm! That is WARM!!! Happy Birthday to my cousin Michelle today too! and My Mom yesterday! My day is coming up soon...ugh! Embrace it Kim!!! You are only as old as you feel...and today I feel 100 lol...j/k

Emma is starting to really copy me and what I say..uhoh..lol..She said Purkle today for Purple, and she says Kitty, Hi (really loud!) Bye Bye..over and over and over...you get the picture there, doggy, mommy, daddy, kiss (Chris) Baby remains our favorite word though...everything is BABY! Ball, Maaa for (Mack the dog) mil (milk) ge (again) She is starting to put some together too like bye baby. I am sure I am missing a lot, but it's hard to understand her and I am her mom!

Chris is involved in Boy Scouts right now and Loving it! The Pinecar derby is coming up and he is really excited. He and his dad have been working on their cars and we (the parents are encouraged to race too!) He is doing pretty well in school too, but does need to work on finishing his school work. He is also taking a liking to cooking, which is great because he has been a very picky eater for the longest time.

We are busy, happy and healthy!

Busy Weekend!

So my Dear Hubby's Birthday is Today! I will spare him and not say his age...but it has a 4...and the next age of Emma in it!! lol! We went to eat at Red Lobster Friday night and had a great meal--Thanks Mom and Dad!--and funny thing we ran into Maggie of Dexter's super savy mom Blog. She is really nice and does great service!!! Emma touched a live lobster with a little trepidation, but she thought it was pretty cool to dip her hands in the lobster tank. Funny girl. I cooked Bear a Birthday Cake...Better the sex...YUMMM! and made Fajita's though no where near as good as LaSenoritas! We have also been Slammed by snow once again! Another 4-8 inches tonight! Woooo hoooo! Take Care!

yikers...how time flies....

We have been really busy at work as of late and I have not had the time to log on as I have wanted to.....So what is new. Emma is finally leaving her pretties in her hair!! Yes!!! She is a goat charmer and loves animals. Chris is doing well in Cub Scouts and loves it. Dad is working on the old antique Tractor, which plows our driveway. Winter is lingering around a bit longer with a Winter Storm Warning up through Friday. Yippee! What is new with me...not much. I just finished our Taxes and filed them via Turbo Tax.com LOVE IT! How easy, much better then when the parents were younger and had to do it all by hand!!! I am willing to dish out a little $$ for something that is done right. That's all for now!

Things have been busy around here!

Emma is getting into EVERYTHING! She is climbing, dumping, putting things back. It's crazy! The weekend is upon us and there really isnt anything new to report. We lost a TON of snow this past week..pout pout...and it is very icky looking everywhere the eye travels. I love winter, but I am longing for those hot sticky summer nights.

Aye! It has been awhile...

We have been sick at our house. I missed work on Thursday due to some ugly stomach bug and a horrible cold. We are finally feeling better and are on the up and up. I will post more tomorrow.

Heading to Lansing Friday!

We are heading to Lansing on Friday in the A.M. Just the bean and I. It should be a nice trip. We are watching the snow closely. I dont mind driving in it, but with Emma I am extra careful!!!
