Sorry its been so long!

Wow, how time is flying in this New Year! We are neck deep in snow and I am loving it! So for the past couple of years I have been really aching for a new really nice digital SLR Camera....So I did it. I saved up enough Christmas Money and went on-line...did a lot of research, shopped around locally, and came up with Amazon.com having the best price! Pluse no tax and FREE shipping! What a deal. I am so excited it comes tomorrow and I cant wait to play around with it. So that is my excitement. Emma and family are doing well. She is a busy body! She climbs EVERYTHING, including the toilet! Unreal!!! She is still a tiny bugger though, 22 lbs and about 31 inches tall. Her hair is growing though, she is sporting a nice baby mullet lol! funny!

Happy New Year everyone!!

We spent the evening going out to dinner and then to my BIL's house for a small party. Emma stayed up until 1am. She hates missing out on anything! It was a nice visit. We had a wonderful Christmas. Santa was good to the kiddo's! They both got what they wanted. I think lol..Well Chris did anyways. Emma had no idea what was going on, but she likes what she got.

So now that 2009 is underway, we are back to normal at the Kroupa house, the tree came down the day after Christmas, the earliest ever! It was very dry and I was not comfy with keeping it up. We have had tremendous winds here and darn it if our tree has tumbled stand and all someplace over hill and dale. I put the tree outside with the stand on and was hoping my dear hubby would take care of it, well before he could the wind kicked in and tumbled that tree out of sight! We will look for it when the snow melts..it is probably by the back woods. Go Figure!!!

Why oh Why...are we always sick for Christmas...

So the past two days I have been dealing with Emma's runny and sore butt, it is getting much much better though. I have ignored my own little warning signs that I am getting sick. Yup...full out head cold came on wrapping presents last night. I feel miserable and can not wait to go home tonight!!! My ears are plugged, my nose is nonstop, my skin is creepy crawly, and I feel just plain ole crappy! On top of that what the heck can you take when you are still nursing? I am doing lozenges, water, zicam, vicks rub...what else is there?? Sorry this is more of a vent then anything. Emma is doing much better, but she is probably going to get this darn cold now.Blah!

Raw tooshie!

Poor Emma is sick. She has runny snotty diapers and a really raw toosh to boot. Poor kid. She was super clingy today and had a small temp. Hopefully she will recup. soon as we have shopping to finish this weekend!!! That's all for now folks. Have a good weekend.

Playgroup today!

Two weeks without Playgroup WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!!!?? We made cute little ornament keepsakes today. They are felt with the toddlers footprint in paint pressed on it. They turned out pretty cool. We made one last year too, I cant wait to see them side by side. I will have to take a picture and post it. Not much else to report. Winter is almost officially here and it feels like it has been winter forever already!! Only how many more months til spring....3? It could be a LoooNg winter!

46 degrees to 8 degrees is CRazY!

When I left work last night it was 46 degrees and rainy, I woke up to Emma whimpering and the wind HOWLING! at 5am. Poor kid. She had no idea what was up. We woke up again at 830a. to find that schools were closed and the snow was flying horizontal and total whiteout! What fun!

Seriously we have tons of the stuff and believe it or not a white Christmas we will have! My friend Whitney is getting hitched this weekend and so we will be busy with that. She and her BF have a one year old little girl and she is really cute. Emma loves to play with Rory and looks forward to all their playdates. Here's to happy last minute shopping!!
