Why oh Why...are we always sick for Christmas...

So the past two days I have been dealing with Emma's runny and sore butt, it is getting much much better though. I have ignored my own little warning signs that I am getting sick. Yup...full out head cold came on wrapping presents last night. I feel miserable and can not wait to go home tonight!!! My ears are plugged, my nose is nonstop, my skin is creepy crawly, and I feel just plain ole crappy! On top of that what the heck can you take when you are still nursing? I am doing lozenges, water, zicam, vicks rub...what else is there?? Sorry this is more of a vent then anything. Emma is doing much better, but she is probably going to get this darn cold now.Blah!

Raw tooshie!

Poor Emma is sick. She has runny snotty diapers and a really raw toosh to boot. Poor kid. She was super clingy today and had a small temp. Hopefully she will recup. soon as we have shopping to finish this weekend!!! That's all for now folks. Have a good weekend.

Playgroup today!

Two weeks without Playgroup WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!!!?? We made cute little ornament keepsakes today. They are felt with the toddlers footprint in paint pressed on it. They turned out pretty cool. We made one last year too, I cant wait to see them side by side. I will have to take a picture and post it. Not much else to report. Winter is almost officially here and it feels like it has been winter forever already!! Only how many more months til spring....3? It could be a LoooNg winter!

46 degrees to 8 degrees is CRazY!

When I left work last night it was 46 degrees and rainy, I woke up to Emma whimpering and the wind HOWLING! at 5am. Poor kid. She had no idea what was up. We woke up again at 830a. to find that schools were closed and the snow was flying horizontal and total whiteout! What fun!

Seriously we have tons of the stuff and believe it or not a white Christmas we will have! My friend Whitney is getting hitched this weekend and so we will be busy with that. She and her BF have a one year old little girl and she is really cute. Emma loves to play with Rory and looks forward to all their playdates. Here's to happy last minute shopping!!

Emma says BABYDOLL!!

I have it on video even! We went out and played in the snow today while Daddy plowed the many inches of snow we got overnight. Mack was so happy for all of us to be outside..he is still such a frisky "puppy!" at 3 years old he has tons of energy. Here are some pic's of Emma all bundled up and in her new sled. I was going to save it for Christmas, but today was the perfect day to use it.

Yup. All this snow that is falling freely from the sky! We have a winter storm warning up through Friday A.M. wow! 10-20 inches depending on where you are...oh yeah, up to 2 feet by NewBerry Mom and Dad! Arent you glad you left when you did..you crazy winter Texans!!! Love ya! It slowed down this afternoon after the system snow moved out, now we are waiting for the NW winds to pick up and scoop up that Lk. Michigan moisture and dump more of that fluffy white stuff on us. Here's to a white Christmas and lots of happy skiiers!
